New Demo Release, Slight Change In Roadmap


Hey all!

This update has been going a completely different direction than I initially anticipated, but it's been quite some time since I shared a playable update with everyone and I figured it was about time to share what I've added with everyone!

Initially my plan was to add a couple of new levels and a new enemy.

Well, I ended up going in a completely different direction, most notably the currency system:

The currency system was not implemented with the last update, and I did not initially expect to have it working in time for this one!


Crushed soda cans act as currency. You can crush soda cans you find and collect them and/or grab them from security guards when you kill them.

Stealth kills were initially an exploit using the overpowered katana block (alternate katana attack), but I found myself having too much fun with it to remove it!

You also notice that the pacing has increased, the nature of drops have changed, there's an alternate attack for the ninja star, and some music has finally been implemented on some the levels!

This is also the first public update with a hub and an NPC-assigned objective. This is a journalist named Leslie who needs you to grab her some documents from the labs:

You'll also meet the professor:

His role will be updated later in development, but I wanted to show him off to players.

Once you give the documents to Leslie you'll have to crouch to get through the door she gives you the key for, I did forget to mention this in the readme.

There's a lot more than just what I've mentioned here, and because I still want to finish one more enemy type and at this point finish the music for the levels between, we'll call this Revision -1. I will "officially" release v0.0.0.3 with a free Steam release!
